The Farm

View from the North

Millsdale is situated on Portion 3 of the farm Moeilijkheid in the district of Belfast. Situated only 12 km from Dullstroom, this is the ideal location for a very peaceful get away. Close enough to enjoy the culinary and shopping delights of Dullstroom, yet far enough to be part of nature and the serenity it offers.

Ample supplies of windmill delivered water, ample wood supplies and sufficient arable land make the farm semi-self sustainable. Situated on 176Ha of grassland and Eucalyptus plantations, it has 3 dams, 2 boreholes and Eskom supplied electricity.

  The house

It is estimated that the main house is 110 years old. Built at the turn of the previous century, it is now unfortunately in a semi-dilapidated state. The 500mm-wide outside walls were built from sandstone and blue stone. Although we have made the house livable our first priority will be to restore the house to its former glory.
